Similes and Metaphors

WALT: Write and give examples of similes

Both similes and metaphors are forms of comparison that compare words in a sentence.

A simile is where two things are directly compared because they share a common feature. The word AS or LIKE is used to compare the two words. Eg. As cold AS a dog's nose.

A metaphor also compares two things, but it does so more directly WITHOUT using as or like. Eg. The shop was a little gold-mine.

best birthday ever

My  best  birthday  was   when  i   was   5   i   really   enjoyed   it   we   played   pass  the   passle   it   was   awesome  we  also   played   put  the   tayle  on   the   dokie.

It  was   cake time   it   had   banarra   inside  chocolate  icing  and  then   last  on  top  gummy   bears.
